I'm an Australian writer, musician, and STEM nerd.
Hi yall! This page is still under active development and I'm doing what I can when I can. Please be nice to her, she is a literal baby. <3
I gazed across the endless tides. Wondering if a story from a land that I did not know had an insight I could not accept. A petal broke off in my hand and the wind swept her away into the black sea. When I finally stood from my place on the rocky coast, my eyes would not avert. For I kept looking, maybe that petal would come back to me. I looked around my cathedral of flowers and rocks and water, and my eyes joined them.
When I walked back, my flower was stolen by a gust, ripping it from my hands. Its claws claimed the flower as if it was always belonging to the wind. The rest of my journey was alone. The fervour of the once so kind place, now was only the sound of banners and flags. People would talk, oh how they would talk, but their words were grasped by the leaves of trees before they even left the mouth.
Upon the rocks,
The black sea crashes,
The salty ocean air suffocates me.
I feel the blood,
Flowing from the lighthouse,
Eternal ire.
The raven caw,
Burns my skin,
As salt scratches my eyes.
She of feathers,
Black in light,
Consumes my soul.
In her grace,
I am bloody.
Drowning.
Upon the rocks,
My head crashes,
She drinks from me.
